It's official, guys: production on season four of Netflix's Stranger Things is underway. The teaser, which clocks in at just under a minute, reveals the fate of Hopper (David Harbour).

The first teaser for Stranger Things 4 brings us to a remote forest in Russian Federation where a bunch of guards are supervising some prisoners building a railway. Now, we know for sure: Hopper lies! The new teaser for season 4 confirms Hopper is that captive and he's being forced into working on some kind of railroad with the other prisoners.

Whatever. All that matters is Hopper is alive.

Stranger Things 4 is now filming and no release date has been announced.

Creators The Duffer Brothers released a teaser video of Hopper's character doing hard labor in the snow. "Although it's not all good news for our "American"; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human... and other". Obviously, there is a big, fat spoiler for the upcoming season of Stranger Things ahead - although we must point out that if the series' creatives meant to keep this plot point a secret, they probably wouldn't have dropped it into a trailer that the entire internet will soon be trumpeting about. "In the meantime, pray for the American".
