Shannen Doherty says she's struggling amid cancer diagnosis

Doherty said it's an "odd time" for her and her feet don't feel "completely underneath" her.

All through her focus on with GMA, Doherty outlined that her life was put into perspectiveOpens in New Window when she was acknowledged with stage 4 most cancers after former co-star and shut buddy Luke Perry died at age 52 from an unlimited stroke.

"To say I have stress is an understatement". To say that I'm struggling is gentle.

Doherty was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015 and announced she was in remission in April 2017.

Shannen Doherty is thanking friends and fans for their support following her stage 4 cancer diagnosis, but admits she's been struggling over the news. "I believe that I will find my footing", Doherty, 48, continued. I'll dig deep for the inside energy I must face all of it. "I pray that I will do everything with dignity and grace ".

Doherty thanked her followers for their support, pleading, "Please know how much you all help lift me". She said on Good Morning America last week that her cancer has returned and is now stage 4.

"And he said, 'All right, let's just get you in.' I think in the back of your head, you are always suspecting that this is going to happen".

"I definitely have days where I say, 'Why me?'" she added.

"It's so weird for me to be acknowledged after which any particular person who was, you acknowledge, seemingly healthful to go first", she talked about. "I know this is hard, and you are feeling overwhelmed, but I want you to know that you are not alone... you have all of us prayer warriors out here fighting for you".

She said: "I thought... people can look at that and say, "Oh my God, yeah".

The actress chose to speak out about her cancer news publicly, as she feared it would come out in court papers.

The "90210" actress is now in a legal battle against State Farm Insurance over the costs of repairs to her home following the 2018 Woolsey fire. She said she appeared in the Fox reboot, BH90210, a year ago to honor Perry as well as prove that she was still able to work despite her cancer battle. I know this is hard and you feel overwhelmed, but I want you to do it.
