Billie Eilish has finally dropped her hotly anticipated title track for the upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die.

As the press release accompanying the release points out, the 18-year-old Grammy victor is the youngest artist to ever write and record a Bond theme. The American singer released "No Time to Die" at midnight Thursday and will perform it live for the first time at the Brit Awards next week.

"The music of Bond has always been iconic and I've already witnessed Hans adding his touch of genius to the Bond legacy".

At 18 years of age, Eilish is the youngest artist in history to both write and record a James Bond theme song.

"Subconsciously and consciously, we've been trying to write a Bond theme for our whole lives", she told E! The movie, Daniel Craig's last outing as the superspy, is due out in April.

The best and most memorable Bond theme songs take elements from John Barry's jazzy arrangements of punchy brass and sweeping strings, mix in a little of the guitar-driven "James Bond Theme", musically integrate with the film's score (even if in counterpoint) while lyrically serving its narrative, and deliver the kind of hummable tune with a soaring chorus it's easy to imagine yourself slaying at karaoke.

No Time to Die is set to hit theaters on April 10.

We'll also see Rami Malek introduced as new villain Safin, joined by other newcomers like Knives Out star Ana de Armas and Captain Marvel's Lashana Lynch. If that isn't James Bond to a T!

It's one of the most famous exchanges in cinematic history. After six films with Sean Connery, this edition starred Roger Moore as the quintessential agent.

"Nobody Does It Better" was recorded by Carly Simon as the title song for the 1977 Bond film, "The Spy Who Loved Me".

While Eilish may still be a teenager, and Finneas only 22, she recently confessed to Beats 1's Zane Lowe that recording a Bond theme has been their longtime dream. The 2002 film was Pierce Brosnan's final performance as 007. Subtle quotes of the motif just like Adele's Skyfall. Get this balancing act right and that song will be inseparable from the film.
