Asked whether it will be a reboot and if Harrison Ford will be involved, Kennedy added: "Harrison Ford will be involved. I'll give you a more appropriate answer considering that I'm gonna start doing Indiana Jones in about two months". Fortunately, David Koepp is working hard on the script of Indiana Jones 5 and while writing Crystal Skullhe also wrote Jurassic Park, Spider-Man Y Panic Room, so you are more than comfortable with major studio movies.

Asked about the challenge of coming back to a role after many years - the inference being those of Han Solo or Indiana Jones - Ford joked: "Trying not to look silly running around in tight trousers and high boots". When we have the opportunity to make another one it is because people have enjoyed it.

"I'm always delighted to come back to these characters".

However, Iger has said that a fifth film will "not be a one-off", so perhaps the torch will be handed on to someone else. I feel obligated to make sure our efforts are as ambitious as when we started.

A year lated LaBeouf said in an interview that Steven Spielberg had cracked the story for the fifth film, something Karen Allen, who plays Marion Ravenwood, later confirmed too. You have a sense of responsibilities to your customers.

He said that he thinks "of the people that go to my movies more as customers than I do as fans".

That wording makes the relationship between Harrison Ford and those who like Indiana Jones feel like an informal business transaction, but that's not surprising from a guy who has never really been caught up in the fandom craziness of Indiana Jones or Star Wars. That feels better to me.

Another installment to the Indiana Jones franchise is on its way, with Harrison Ford revealing that production will commence within months. It would seem George Lucas isn't involved creatively, but we can't imagine Spielberg opting not to discuss the movie with him at some point. The fourth film, 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was not well received by fans for its story, not Ford's performance.
