Bernie Sanders' surrogate Freshman Rep.

The 30-year-old freshman congresswoman from The Bronx has signed on as a guest judge for Season 12 of "RuPaul's Drag Race", which will have a two-part premiere on February 28 and March 6 on VH1.

Ocasio-Cortez is a self-proclaimed longtime "huge fan" of "RuPaul's Drag Race".

She attended the Washington, D.C., show of drag queen Sasha Velour, who won her season of "Drag Race", and has said that judging the show is her "dream," according to Paper. "I pledge allegiance to the drag", she adds, saying the show's tagline.

"This was absolutely, 100% a peak experience. I am SO excited for the new season", AOC tweeted on Thursday.

The upcoming season centers on three colors: red, white and blue.

In other words, 13 drag queens compete in various challenges for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar" and a $100,000 grand prize.

Sanders has reinforced his backing of the LGBTQ+ movement, co-sponsoring bills to expand equal rights and ensure equal protection under the law - including the United American Families Act, Employment Non-Discrimination Act and a bill to designate a LGBTQ+ equality day. He covers everything from health and science to politics and crime. She joins a long list of celebrities set to make cameos on the show, including Nicki Minaj, Chaka Khan, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Goldblum, Daisy Ridley, Leslie Jones, Normani, Olivia Munn, Thandie Newton, Robyn, and Winnie Harlow.

Further, AOC showed some love to Drag Race Season 9 victor Sasha Velour by attending one of her performances in Washington, D.C. The star posted a clip with the congresswoman backstage.

The show premieres Friday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m., 7 p.m.

The new season kicks off on February 28.
