President Donald Trump will give a sit-down interview to Fox News' Sean Hannity to air during Fox's Super Bowl pregame show on Sunday, February 2. According to a 2018 Research Intelligencer study by Brand Keys, FOX News ranks as the second most trusted television brand in the country.

Between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST, MSNBC averaged 1.51 million total viewers according to Nielsen. Additional portions of the sit-down will be saved for FNC's Hannity at 9 a.m. ET the next day. MSNBC had the lowest number of viewers in the 25-54 demo, bringing in 245,000. Fox News on Tuesday topped all broadcast and cable networks in coverage of the first day of the Senate trial.

Millions of Fox News viewers, Rupar points out, have been fed a steady diet of "propaganda" and misinformation during Trump's impeachment trial. "And while viewers were being spun on Wednesday, they were shown soundless video of the trial, the misleading implication being that they don't have to bother watching it since Fox News is on top of it for them". Over the two days during that period, Fox News had 2,197 million viewers, of which 355,000 were in the demo.

Fox had the most news viewers ages 25-54 on the first day - at 394,000. MSNBC saw 1.866 million total viewers across both days and the fewest in the demo, bringing in 255,000. MSNBC had 2.599 million viewers with 482,000 in the demo, and CNN's average prime time viewership was 1.423 million. Someone who watched MSNBC or CNN got to hear Schiff skillfully laying out fact after fact after fact showing that Trump committed impeachable offenses.

MSNBC hosts, the target of President Trump's Twitter anger, may no longer laugh now.
