Legendary singer and songwriter James Taylor is heading to Blossom Music Center as part of a USA tour.

Along with his album announcement, Taylor will set off on tour across the USA, touching down in 26 cities and accompanied by singer-songwriter Jackson Browne.

"American Standard" is due out February 28. The new album will feature 14 classic songs reimagined and adapted to fit Taylor's stripped-down and guitar-centric style.

"I've always had songs that I grew up with that I remember really well that were part of the family record collection", Taylor said in the trailer. "In terms of how [the songs] were performed and recorded before, we paid attention to the chords and melody, but we were interested in doing something new, and in bringing something new to it, we've reinterpreted the songs, that's what makes it worth doing".

A five-time Grammy Award victor, Taylor is best known for such songs as "Fire and Rain", "Shower the People", "You've Got a Friend" and "Carolina in My Mind".

Additionally, for Taylor's 19th studio album, American Standard, the veteran guitarist and singer chose to take on a smattering of classic Americana tunes, including "My Blue Heaven", "You've Got To Be Carefully Taught", "Sit Down, You're Rocking The Boat", "Pennies From Heaven", and more.

Jackson Browne has sold over 18 million albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.

He received the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama in 2012. In 2016, he received the Kennedy Center Honors, which are presented annually to individuals who have enriched American culture by distinguished achievement in the performing arts.
