The weekend saw Dancing On Ice return live to ITV as the remaining celebs skated together for the first time.

She has turned up for training in anticipation of a return to next week's show.

"She might skate off partnerless". Bauer returned to the show this evening following a fall during training a fortnight ago.

Lucrezia Millarini and Brendyn Hatfield have become the second couple to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice 2020.

ITV said in a statement to the Daily Mail: "We're pleased to say that Caprice is back on the ice today in training and very much working towards returning to the show on Sunday night".

Watching on proudly from the audience was Maura's boyfriend, Curtis Pritchard, who she met during the pair's stint on Love Island.

There was a surprise when the split between the partners was announced on the live show.

This year's series has a new judge, John Barrowman, after resident Mr Nasty, Jason Gardiner quit the show.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield made the announcement at the start of the show.

Mimicking cat claws as she added: "That'll be me".

Caprice did not make an appearance during the routine sparking concern from fans that she had left the show.

"There will be more to come on this story over the next few hours or days. I don't get sick of it".

Her "fanny flutters" and the iconic moment when she told Tom Walker to "go fuck yourself" proved to viewers that Maura Higgins is no stranger to a bit of colourful language. I'm just having such a ball and I'm so appreciative that I have this opportunity.

"Not gonna relax until I know what's happening with hamish and caprice", said another.

Hamish did appear in the group skate on Sunday, with an ITV spokesman saying that although Caprice and Hamish had "unfortunately" parted ways, "as you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week".
