Denver led by as many as six in the first quarter, nine in the second and 11 in the third.

Sabonis finished with a triple-double of 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. Goran Dragic racked up 19 factors, Kendrick Nunn had 18, Butler hit for 16 as well as Duncan Robinson included 12 for the Heat, that had a two-game winning touch broke.

After putting up an inspired performance in their win over the Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers sharpshooter Doug McDermott claims that the team is motivated by the lack of respect.

"We just played really well together out there in the fourth quarter", McDermott said. The former Nuggets first-round draft pick recorded a career-best with six 3-pointers in seven attempts, helping the Pacers outscore the Nuggets 39-9 from beyond the arc. The best part is that they're doing it without their star guard Victor Oladipo who's about to make his return after undergoing right knee surgery a year ago.

IN was kept off of the glass as the Nuggets had a 29-19 rebounding advantage at the half and the defense led the way for Denver in the first half.

When the Nuggets are able to get off to a great start with their defense leading the way, it sets the tone for the rest of the game and Denver is able to control the direction of the game from there.

Nikola Jokic recorded a double-double with a game-high 30 points and team-high 10 rebounds for Denver. The nuggets missed 10 out of 32 free throws and were 3 out of 23 from a 3-point range, while Pacers connected 13 out of 29 remotely, including six McDermott 3-points.

A close game towards the end, The Pacers led 98-97. "And in the fourth quarter everybody stepped up and made big-time plays".

McDermott finished with a season-high and team-best 24 points. He had eight points in the final piece and was also ultra-aggressive on the boards.

The video game was consequently deadlocked at 93 as well as 95 prior to McDermott complied with a hoop by the Nuggets' Jerami Grant with an additional three-pointer, this set offering IN the lead for efficient 98-97 with 4: 13 to play.

While the Pacers came in the last frame, the Nuggets wavered.

"I think we got real relaxed and we didn't play with a sense of urgency, especially in the second half", said Michael Porter Jr., who scored 10 points for Denver. His only two points in the period came from the free-throw line.

Jamal Murray and Paul Millsap have not seen it seemed too much for the Nuggets to overcome, but Denver must better maintain the defensive intensity during the game and also feed their best player.

This was a disappointing loss for Denver.
