The nonprofit Husky House shelter in Matawan, which cared for Jubilee for two years, made a decision to post a desperate pitch for potential adopters - in Jubilee's "voice" - to Facebook on Tuesday.

"Husky House said Jubilee was taken to the shelter by a breeder who said he could not sell the dog because she is "'weird' looking".

Fans also began sending in their Jubilee-inspired artwork and drawings as a show of support for "Team Jubilee" - a group which soon begat its own charitable T-shirts which are now being sold to raise money for other "adoptables" at Husky House.

"I wish I was handsome so someone would want me to be their dog", the post said.

"I like other dogs, but I don't like cats", the post continued. "I'm a little shy because people mostly laugh at the way I look".

A dog once deemed too "weird"-looking to find a home has now done just that, thanks to the power of the Internet. I wish I had a family of my own who could love me even though I'm not pretty".

Jubilee, a 4-year-old female pup, has an eyelid deformity that makes it appear as if she's always surprised.

People all around the world wanted to adopt Jubilee and show her what a lovely life could be like. Huskies are majestic looking dogs and I don't know why I don't look like them'.

Four-year-old Jubilee shot to internet stardom last week when a Facebook post about her from New Jersey-based shelter Husky House, in the United States, went viral.

Multiple people online commented about the dog and said they were willing to take her in.

And to their surprise, the Facebook post too social media by storm, with hundreds of people applying to become Jubilee's family, including one pup parent who had already adopted a dog from the shelter in the past, and was chosen as the flawless person to take the cross-eyed husky home.

'We are so happy to see that everyone feels she is as wonderful as we always knew she was'.

It was shared almost 50,000 times on Facebook, while one of the images received 125,000 upvotes on Reddit after a user posted it with a caption saying Jubilee "just happens to look like bad taxidermy".

Labrador Rescue posted an ad on its Facebook page, pretending to be Dumpling, saying: "I didn't have the best start to life but since joining Labrador Rescue my life has turned around". I had some puppies over the years and I guess my old owners didn't need me anymore. "As I am now older I find that small frequent walks are flawless for me".
