After words between the two, the lights went low in the arena and the red light came on. The Fiend retreated back through the hole in the ring as Bryan continued to beat on him, coming back up with a handful of The Fiend's hair. WWE also hasn't given much of an indication about who is going to win the Royal Rumble matches. That match was later made official by the announcers.

Since then, he has stated that the up-and-coming Superstar represents all the problems that have infested Friday Night SmackDown since he left.

There is a lot at stake for tonight's game because WWE has just announced that the victor of this match will choose the stipulation for Reigns vs. King Corbin in the payment for Royal Rumble event.
