The series is also executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Lauren Levy Neustadter, Pilar Savone, and Lynn Shelton. "After I learn the ebook it had such a lot of topics in it that have been very complicated..." The entirety [Kerry] does she brings a grace to it. It deepens the conversation. "And I think adding race into that (and) stepping away from the binary idea of race in this country ... it's a lot to unpack". "It's in reality thrilling and a laugh....all of those problems are offered, however they're embodied in those characters - they're so actual and so wealthy and we were given to dive into that". Liz Tigelaar will serve as creator, showrunner, and executive producer. "I sought after to collect a writers room that used to be a racial panorama that might fit that of the ebook". The incredible thing about the room and the reason he moves me like this is that everyone has multiple connectivity points for the show.

The series, based off on Celeste Ng's bestselling book of the same name, stars Witherspoon as Elena Richardson, a type-A personality, and Washington as Mia Warren, a free-spirited mother, who, along with her daughter, upend the picture-perfect Richardson family's lives. The show will explore the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood - and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.

With Witherspoon and Washington in the background and on the screen, the pedigree of the "Little Fires Everywhere" awards is visible and builds on earlier dramatic Hulu Emmy successes such as "The Handmaid's Tale" and "The Act". The series will air on March 18 on Hulu. See the teaser below.
