The CW is saying yes to some super cool guys for this fall. The universe from which the first kickstart began is expanding and a star from the second will soon be back on the network.

As Arrow nears its end, the Arrowverse will at the very least hold steady at six programs, now that Superman & Lois has been officially ordered to series at The CW.

Superman & Lois is described as "revolving around the world's most famous super hero and comics' most famous journalist deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today's society".

Catch a peak at what you might be in for in tonight's concluding episode of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, which will feature both Tyler Hoechlin's Superman and Bitsie Tulloch's Lois! The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, is based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Per the official series logline, Jared's version of Walker is "a widower and father of two with his own moral code who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there's harder work to be done at home".

The CW has also placed a straight-to-series order for a reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger, a Western show from the late '90s and early 2000s that starred Chuck Norris in the main role. The only shows to not get a renewal are ones that have already been confirmed to be ending like Arrow, The 100, and of course Padalecki's Supernatural, which will be airing new episodes this month after a holiday hiatus.
