This allows him to perfectly mimic the physical movements of whomever he fights, making him an incredible adversary to take on the deadly Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) - a founding member of The Avengers whose skills make up for a lack of superpowers. The new trailer introduces us to the MCU's brand new villain - the Taskmaster, a trained mercenary.

Football fans got a brand-new special look at Marvel Studios' Black Widow tonight during the National Championship game between the Clemson Tigers and the LSU Tigers on ESPN. Watch the new trailer above. What kind of new demons will she be dealing with here? The chase leads her to Budapest, where she not only reunites with a younger colleague, Yelena (Florence Pugh), but gets embroiled in a plot tied to the training program that turned her into an assassin as a child. The reunion of the two is teased in the trailer as they explore their bond as sisters. The film will also mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Yelena Belova, the second modern-era character to use the Black Widow title in the comics. Red Guardian (David Harbour) and Melina (Rachel Weisz - who has already won an Academy Award). But it is Scarlett's face off with Taskmaster towards the end that takes the trailer to a whole new level. For years there were rumors that a Black Widow film starring Scarlett Johansson was in development but was kept at bay to due studio politics and other factors at Marvel Studios.

Full plot details on Marvel Studios' Black Widow are now under wraps, though it has been revealed that the film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and will see Scarlett Johansson's Nathasha Romanoff take on the villainous Taskmaster.

Black Widow hits Malaysian cinemas on 30 April 2020.
