JUST IN: Trick Daddy Arrested On A Cocaine Possession Charge

A search of Trick's auto turned up a rolled-up dollar bill that appeared to be used for snorting cocaine, and he was then hit with the DUI and possession charge.

"Love and Hip Hop: Miami" star Trick Daddy was arrested early Saturday in Miami after officers found him asleep behind the wheel of his auto.

Police allegedly caught Trick Daddy running multiple red lights and he smashed into street signs while driving his Range Rover.

According to police reports obtained by TMZ, the rapper, 45, was found asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle, and when cops asked him what was going on he replied with slurred speech that he had just dropped someone off after leaving a nightclub. In 1993, Trick Daddy, whose real name is Maurice Samuel Young, was convicted of cocaine possession, carrying a concealed weapon, and violating probation.

The report goes on to state, according to the Herald, that when the officer approached the driver's side of the SUV, the driver appeared to be asleep, and after waking up, he admitted to having about five drinks at a club hours earlier. He revealed that he was dropped someone off and was heading home.

The report said Young had slurred speech, bloodshot, watery, glassy eyes, and the officer smelled alcohol on his breath.

Trick Daddy was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at around 7:30 a.m., the Herald reported.

His bond was on the cocaine charge was set at $5,000, and for driving under the influence. another $1,000. He is being charged with cocaine possession. He's also been a main cast member for the past three seasons of Love & Hip-Hop Miami along with Trina, Shay Johnson, Bobby Lytes and Amara Le Negra.

The soul food spot's general manager, Sharrod Robinson, told 7News described the 45-year-old as a nice person who was responsible for employing everyone at the restaurant.
