Khris Middleton added 30 points and Eric Bledsoe scored 29 for the Bucks who are hoping to surpass the franchise-best 66-16 mark set by the 1970-71 squad led by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

The nasty cold that CJ McCollum has been dealing with for the past week, and has been going around has not spread to anyone else on the team; however, Hassan Whiteside is not feeling better. We have to have that mentality.

"You can't win a championship in the regular season", Middleton said. The majority of the crowd at the Moda Center filed out when the Bucks (35-6) pulled ahead by 25 points with five minutes left in the game.

Antetokounmpo had 13 points and seven rebounds in the first quarter alone and Milwaukee went on to its third straight win.

On the second night of a back-to-back, coming to Portland from Sacramento, that won't by any means be easy for the Bucks, particularly as the Trail Blazers had the advantage of having Friday night off.

"Usually when I'm not aggressive the previous game, I come out the next game more aggressive", Antetokounmpo said. Whiteside will not play tonight.

"Yeah, it was a good effort but we don't show up to have a good effort", Lillard said.

Elsewhere, James Harden paced the Houston attack with a deft shooting touch, finishing with 32 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists Saturday as the Rockets routed the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 139-109. "We show up to win".

The Rockets shot 51.6 percent overall and finished 18 of 45 on 3-pointers.

Bucks: Though Antetokounmpo is the biggest reason for the Bucks' NBA-best 35-6 record, the Bucks outscore their opponents by 8.3 points per 100 possessions when the MVP sits, according to NBA.com.

- Saturday's game will complete the two contests between the Trail Blazers and Bucks during the 2019-20 season.

- Rim Protection: The Trail Blazers (6.5 bpg) and the Bucks (6.3 bpg) rank second and third in the National Basketball Association in blocks per game, respectively. McCollum missed a January 5 game with an illness but according to Stotts, Whiteside was the only player still affected by the sickness that spread around the team over the past week.

The Trail Blazers have gone 8-9 at home. Carmelo Anthony has averaged 4.8 rebounds and added 14.7 points per game over the last 10 games for Portland.
