Audi is bringing its latest sporty SUVs to the North American market, the 2020 SQ7 and SQ8. Since it slots between the Q8 and RS Q8, expect the SQ8 to cost between $67,400 and $141,000.

Under the hood of both vehicles is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which produces 500 horsepower and 568 lb. -ft. of torque. Power will go to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. This setup enables both models to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour (0-96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 155 miles per hour (250 km/h).

Other technologies empowering the driver include standard all-wheel steering that can turn the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front wheels to aid low-speed maneuverability and handling, as well as stability at higher speeds. The vehicles are also fitted with electro-mechanical active roll stabilization, which stiffens the front and rear roll bars in more active driving situations. Aggressive front fascias feature aluminum-looking trim (it's plastic) along with air intake blades, extended side sills, and silver mirror caps along with the typical S-model round quad-exhaust setup. The SQ8 will also feature an Alu-optic grille surround and will have standard 21- and available 22-inch wheel designs.

Audi didn't say much about the interior, but confirmed the models will have front sport seats with cross-stitched leather that is unique to the performance variants.

On Monday, the automaker announced that the 2020 Audi SQ7 and SQ8 will arrive in the spring 2020.
