The hotly anticipated Redmi K30 series is due to be released tomorrow, but Xiaomi has demonstrated the capabilities of its six cameras in a series of marketing photos.

Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing confirmed that the Redmi K30 would also launch in a 4G LTE variant. The designs were incredible to say the least. The company has been teasing various specifications and features of the Redmi K30 on its social media accounts. A 5MP camera for depth portrait is also expected. Redmi K30 will retain the legacy of fan favorite 3.5mm headphone jack, and will also feature side mounted fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi's new Redmi K30 with 5G connectivity and 64MP camera from Sony launches tomorrow in Beijing. The brand has also made a decision to launch the phone locally, with it likely being the last launch by the company for the year.

Thus, there are very high hopes with IMX686. Redmi and Xiaomi usually host a livestream on their China website for their live launch events, and we expect the same for the Redmi K30. Redmi K30 would come in two different variants with 4G LTE and 5G support, as confirmed by Xiaomi.

The other big change with the Redmi K30 will be the selfie camera.

Regrading the display on Redmi K30, we don't have a lot of official info, but rumors/leaks suggest it's going to be a 6.67-inch 120Hz IPS LCD panel, which can be seen as both an upgrade and a downgrade. Leaked benchmarks for the Redmi K30 claims this will be faster compared to the older Snapdragon 730G, which powered the Redmi K20.

Referred to as a 2 cm macro lens, the sensor looks capable of capturing fine details of small objects like figurines and fibres. We'll find out then what the device's local price is like, as well as the variants that we'll be getting. It's been a while since we had Apple's most premium phone here and were are glad to welcome it on its return.
