Paul Reubens is taking his trademark red bow-tie and bicycle on tour to celebrate the 35th anniversary of his movie "Pee-wee's Big Adventure".

It seems that no matter how old he gets, Paul Reubens will always be Pee-wee Herman.

It may be hard to believe for some, but Pee-wee's Big Adventure, a silly movie adventure comedy film turns 35 in 2020.

The movie, which is surprisingly terrifying for children's fare, was Tim Burton's theatrical debut and the first major project of composer Danny Elfman.

The show will feature a screening of the hit film, as well as live behind-the-scenes stories from Reubens himself. Kicking off in Portland, Oregon on February 14, the tour will go to 20 cities through February and March, including stops in San Antonio on March 5 and Austin on March 6.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday at 10 a.m. CST at, with three levels of exclusive VIP packages including a secret gift and a photo opportunity with Reubens alongside a signed print. Reubens is now 67-years-old, which likely means there won't be many more (if any at all) tours for Pee-wee left. The series earned 22 Emmy® Awards during its five year run.
