Neither Qualcomm nor PUBG Mobile's publisher has shared a timeline as to when the update that brings these new features will roll out.

PUBG Mobile gameplay is intense and engaging.

Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 865 chipset has been upgraded with performance, graphics, power efficiency and more. It also remains to be seen if other mobile game developers will follow PUBG Mobile's lead in adding 90fps support for their games.

But there is little information available about when PUBG Mobile would get support at 90 ips.

At the ongoing Snapdragon Tech Summit, where Qualcomm unveiled the new flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset and talked at length about how powerful their next chipset is, we also got the confirmation that PUBG Mobile will soon gain the support for 90fps.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 offers 20 percent faster graphics performance with Adreno 650 GPU. The chipset supports QHD screens at 144Hz refresh rates, which could allow companies and developers to take advantage of faster display panels. At the three-day summit in Hawaii, Qualcomm demonstrated the gameplay of PUBG Mobile, which had a special feature that players have been waiting for for a long time.

PUBG Mobile was one of the most popular smartphone games of the year, with over 400 million total players. In fact, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 supporting 144 Hz displays means that PUBG Mobile at 90 frames per second is not quite in the trend.

There are a number of gaming phones with 90Hz refresh rate displays.
