The wait for Apple's high-end Mac Pro desktop and Pro Display XDR monitor is nearly over - emails sent by Apple to some users confirm a launch date of Tuesday, December 10, with shipping presumably soon after. The email was spotted by popular YouTuber Marques Brownlee on Twitter, The Verge reported. The wait is nearly over. You'll be able to place orders for both of these devices starting from 10th December.

Instead, it is aimed at professionals in the creative sector - such as movie editors - who need very powerful hardware to achieve their goals. If you have a larger budget, then it can be configured all the way up to a 28-core Xeon processor, dual Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs, 1.5TB of RAM and more, although pricing will rise astronomically, perhaps even as high as $50,000.

It has eight internal PCI slots, four Thunderbolt 3 ports, and two USB Type-A ports.

Apple gave Mac fanatics their first look at the new $6,000 Mac Pro at the Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) in July, and after months of speculation on the desktop computer's eventual release date, the day to pre-order the infamous cheese grater-lookin' processor is nigh.

When the Mac Pro does finally, which will start at US$6000 for an 8-core XEON W chip workstation, expect to see the internet go ablaze with reviews, first impressions and thoughts about whether Apple finally deserves the wear it's Pro moniker loud and proud.
