MI bounced back from its 58-43 loss to top-ranked Louisville on Tuesday night. The Wolverines are favored by seven points in the latest MI vs. Iowa odds, while the over-under is set at 144. With all that said, here are three things that we learned. However, Iowa has covered in seven of their last 10 games overall against MI. "Iowa is a really fast team".

Garza worked over 7-foot-1 MI senior Jon Teske and his backups in piling up 27 first-half points.

"They tried the gameplan of staying on our shooters and kind of let me go one-on-one". "If you go 1-on-1 with me, I'm just going to just try to get to the basket and score as much as I can".

Garza set a record for the most points by an opposing player at Michigan's Crisler Center, breaking the mark of 39 by Ohio State's Dennis Hopson in 1987.

"Garza is a very talented ballplayer, " Wolverines coach Juwan Howard said. "No one got discouraged when he was making shots". MI has an assist on 38 of 77 field goals (49.4 percent) over its previous three games while Iowa has assists on 53 of 72 field goals (73.6 percent) during its past three games. Michigan: The Wolverines were sharp in responding to their first loss of the season, and there were plenty of contributors. John Jr.'s minutes off the bench were vital with fellow sophomore Colin Castleton being limited due to a non-serious first half injury, and junior Isaiah Livers struggling with foul trouble. The offensive outburst led to the Wolverines scoring their most points in a Big Ten game since 1998, when they scored 112 against Indiana. MI is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games against Iowa at home.

Garza also easily surpassed his career high of 30 from last month against Oral Roberts.

Davis had a career-high eight points.

Wagner's alley-oop dunk with just more than a minute to play put MI over the 100-point mark.

Iowa: The Hawkeyes host Minnesota on Monday night.

No man is an island, though Luka Garza was at least an Upper Peninsula Friday night in MI.
