'Batman's not a superhero, ' he said.

Robert Pattinson has questioned whether Batman is a superhero, claiming that they should have magical powers. I think it's because one of my eyes is smaller than the other.

"Batman is not a superhero!" Batman's not a hero. 'It's weird, I always balk at it. "I just think I'm kind of boring and old now", Pattinson expressed, talking about his upcoming venture to Sunday Today with Willie Geist. He's not the golden boy, unlike nearly every other comic-book character'.

The insane level of fame that Pattinson experienced after playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga is something that most actors don't achieve, and it didn't sit well with Pattinson.

Notably, after the Twilight movies, Pattinson devoted himself to a series of smaller films and projects, like David Cronenberg's Cosmoplolis and, recently, Robert Eggers' The Lighthouse.

The 33-year-old actor, famous for his lead role in the vampire drama, surprised his fans with the announcement that he will now be starring in a huge action-thriller film. It's a very, very special part and I think it's been very carefully - I feel like everyone's really looked after the character and its history and there's a lot of reverence for it. I don't know, I'm hoping it won't be people hanging outside my place.

Acclaimed actor John Turturro has also been cast in The Batman, joining the likes of Zoe Kravitz and Paul Dano in Matt Reeves' adaptation of the DC franchise story.

Fans are certainly excited to see what Robert Pattinson and director Matt Reeves have cooked up for this latest iteration of Batman. There are also rumors swirling that Colin Farrell is in talks to play Penguin.
