Also today, Google released the Pixel Update Bulletin for December 2019 to address various security vulnerabilities and issues specific to Pixel devices, in addition to the security vulnerabilities described in the Android Security Bulletin for December 2019. Some months there's nothing of note, while other months include some important things.

The function was originally touted as an Android 10 feature but it's limited to the Pixel 4 series for now.

Soon after launching the Night Sight feature with Pixel 3, the software giant learned that viewers will tolerate motion-blurred clouds and tree branches in an image if it looks sharp otherwise but they do not tolerate "motion-blurred stars that look like short line segments".

The phones who have started receiving the update are the original Pixel and Pixel XL, the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, the Pixel 3 and 3 XL and the Pixel 3a and 3a XL.

Consisting of the 2019-12-01 and 2019-12-05 security patch levels, the Android Security Patch for December 2019 addresses a total of 42 security flaws across various Android components, including Android Framework, Media framework, Android System, Kernel components, as well as Qualcomm components, including closed-source ones.
