Baby Prince William joins 'The Crown' season 4

The historical drama has been enthralling viewers for three seasons now, chronicling the Queen's life through to lens of real-life royal scandals beginning with her wedding in 1947. After the second season, the show went with significant cast changes.

This seems impossible right, but it's true.

For the third and forth fourth season, The Crown introduced a new cast to play the royal family.

Marion Bailey takes over the role of the queen mother of Victoria Hamilton, starting in the third season, which premieres on November 17, 2019. With the reprisal of Claire, she got to reunite with her co-star Matt Smith. Claire Foy handed over the role of Queen Elizabeth the second to the Oscar victor Olivia Colman, The new cast also contains Tobias Menzies how Prince Philip.

Earlier this week, a royal experienced claimed that the Prince of Wales is now seen because the ' nation' s favorite' and is lastly adored by the lots.

Photos from the set of the fourth season have begun to leak, affording us a first look at Emma Corrin as Princess Diana and the possible return of Claire Foy in flashbacks as the younger incarnation of the queen.

"He asked what I was doing at the moment before he quickly added, 'Actually, I know what you're doing, ' " Colman revealed on The Graham Norton Show. As per her, he is not much of a fan of the series. The couple were joined on tour with their 9-month-old son Prince William, reports ET Canada.

The Crown season three ends in 1977, and the next instalment will delve into the dramas of the Eighties. And Season 4 will bring in The Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher's span of governance, from 1979 to 1990.

"I was thrilled with the show and believing that I now belong to this incredibly talented actor family is surreal", Corrin said in a statement released by Netflix. Corrin's casting as Princess Diana was confirmed in August 2019. Although, the audience might get the chance to see this side of Charles' affair with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (played by Emerald Fennell).

Bonham Carter's credits include the Harry Potter film series, Ocean's Eight, and The King's Speech.

Edging ever closer to the present day, the upcoming season - which is now in filming stages - will explore the Lady Diana Spencer years, including her marriage to Charles and the birth of Prince William and Harry. Season four is set to air in 2020.
