Nepal's Anjali Chand scripts history in T20I cricket

Off late, the game of cricket witnessed quite a few incredible performances from the players across the world. Anjali Chand, who came into bowl in the seventh over, took six wickets in the game to help Nepal wrap up the game in the first over.

Chand bowled 2.1 overs without conceding a single run as Nepal bowled out Maldives women for 16 in 10.1 overs. Anjali Chand bowled two maiden overs and bagged six wickets without conceding a single run off her bowling to register the best bowling figures in any Twenty20 worldwide (T20I) game. She struck thrice in her first over before picking up a couple of wickets in her second over.

Chand, making her worldwide debut, bowled 2.1 overs without conceding a single run as Nepal bowled out Maldives women for 16 in 10.1 overs in Pokhara.

Malaysia women's Mas Elysa held the previous T20 bowling record after taking 6-3 against China in January.

Nepal are competing with the Maldives, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the 4-team tournament and the best two at the end of a round-robin stage will enter the gold medal match.
