You can now add your Gmail account on Outlook.com

The company has slowly been fixing this as of late with a bunch of features added back in April. While it looks the part, with your Gmail inbox and Google Calendar presented neatly side-by-side, switching between your Google and Outlook accounts causes the entire page to refresh. Assistant has historically been extremely limited for G Suite accounts, but some of that is changing today.

In professional settings, where you might sift through dozens of emails a day, Smart Compose is even more useful. Google Drive documents can't be managed from within Outlook, but once access is granted, you'll be able to select and attach individual files to your mail - regardless of whether you're using your Outlook or Gmail account.

The beta program has to be enabled by the admin (s) of each G Suite organization, so it's not something individuals can turn on right now. That means if you're not an admin you'll have to convince the higher-ups to apply.
