Belgium captain, Eden Hazard, has named Real Madrid star, Karim Benzema as the best striker in the world presently. Both players have been teammates at Real Madrid for about four months now, after Hazard joined Los Blancos from Chelsea earlier this summer.

"After having played with Benzema for three or four months, I think he is now the best striker in the world", Hazard said at a press conference in Belgium via EFE. When asked about potentially facing France without Benzema, Hazard shared his thoughts and was clear.

The Belgium global has struggled since arriving at the Bernabeu - scoring just once in 11 La Liga and Champions League games - although his form has picked up recently, with three assists in his last four matches.

"It's good to play our last game at home, especially when you have qualified already", Hazard added. He completed a wonderful performance against Eibar and it's clear that he's regained some confidence. When I'm on the pitch I will always try to do my best, with Real Madrid or Belgium.

The Belgian global shared his insights on the 32-year-old forward while speaking in the press conference ahead of his country's UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier match against Cyprus on Tuesday. We are winning and our team is improving, which makes things easier for me too.
