During Microsoft's XO19 event, the publisher officially revealed when Minecraft Dungeons would be released on all platforms.

Minecraft Dungeons will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this April 2020. Instead of letting players' imaginations loose on a vast, open canvas, Dungeons is an adventure game, filled with quests, characters, items and enemies, and can be played by up to four people online. You're going to take on unsafe foes and collect all kinds of treasure, along with other goods and items to assist you.

Classes? Never heard of them!

In it, the game's multiplayer components were put on full display, showing multiple players battling their way through a Minecraft-esque take on the dungeon crawler. Nothing is stopping you!

Microsoft's X019 event kicked off in London today, with a pair of announcements relevant to Switch owners.

Co-developed between Mojang and Double Eleven, Minecraft Dungeons looks to be just the ticket for those wanting a new adventure from the series.
