Flight delayed after man sneaks on plane, locks himself in bathroom

A flight from Barcelona to Dublin was delayed on Monday afternoon after someone without a ticket boarded and locked themselves in the bathroom.

Passengers said the man had no boarding pass or passport.

Vueling later announced that those passengers would be offered an alternate flight.

As Vueling Airlines did not immediately respond to Fox News' requests for comment; the man's identity remains unknown, and it's unclear whether or not he will face charges.

"Vueling disembarked all passengers safely and proceeded to change aircraft so our customers were able to continue their journey to their destination". The intruder not only did not have a boarding pass but also did not have a passport, even though it was an global flight.

Passengers were forced off the plane while authorities handled the situation.

The flight was delayed by three hours and three minutes, and the low-priced Spanish airline Vueling acknowledged the delay on social media.

According to the Barcelona Airport website, the flight eventually took off at 3:21 p.m. local time. "Our colleagues will inform you in the shortest time possible".
