Chicago rapper Lil Reese critical after being shot

CBS Chicago reported that police were informed around 2.30 p.m. about a shooting incident that occurred at the intersection of the 167th Street and Pulaski Road.

The sufferer who was shot in the County Club Hills space of Chicago has been discovered as rapper Lil Reese, actual name Tavares Taylor. He was transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

The 26-year-old rapper was shot in the neck on Monday afternoon (October 12) 40 minutes outside of Chicago in his home state of Illinois, TMZ reports.

Police said they encountered an empty vehicle with blood saturating the driver's sea and an area near the driver's side door, and that eyewitnesses told them that someone had taken a gunshot victim to receive help.

Rapper Lil Reese is now hospitalized in his home state of IL after cops say he was shot in the neck.

Officials at Christ Medical Center identified the victim as Taylor and said he is in critical condition. He is reportedly in a critical condition. However rapper Lil Durk gave fans some solace and tweeted "Reese good" with a blue heart around 7:30 Monday evening, indicating that things may be looking up. So if Durk himself is saying that Reese is okay, we hope that remains true.

Reese is a high school dropout who broke out in the music scene after appearing on Chief Keef's breakout 2012 single "I Don't Like".

Aside from his appearance on "Don't Like", Reese also unveiled a very well-acquired mixtape, Supa Savage, in 2013.
