Man Plays Fetch With Beluga Whale

Beluga whales are said to be very intelligent animals and, as seen in the video, very playful.

A viral video has captured the incredible moment a beluga whale played "fetch the ball" with a man on a boat. And it would appear that it is not just limited to humans, either, as at least one spunky beluga whale in the South Pole seems to have caught it too.

The World Cup may have ended last weekend but Rugby fever is still alive and well. Apparently that trait extends well beyond the beluga whales at waterparks.

The video has been shared by Twitter user Sofía Martínez-Villalpando and it shows a man throwing a rugby ball in the ocean.

New Zealand Herald reports that the video was taken by crew members aboard the Gemini Craft, which is now at sea in the Arctic Pole. However, this post has garnered about 5 million views and more than 16 lakh likes - and still counting. "Man.this is one of the most attractive videos I've seen", said another.
