Kristen didn't just speak about her relationship with Rob, she also answered Howard Stern's questions regarding if she would have married Robert Pattinson if he had asked for her hand.

When Stern suggests falling in love on set is the "biggest mistake", Stewart simply says there was "nothing I could do" to avoid it.

"I've actually never been allowed to just say what happened, because I was so self-conscious about seeming like an attention seeker".

Stewart added that it was assumed that she did sleep with the father-of-two, admitting that when 'you make out with a dude in public, it definitely looks like you did [have sex]'.

Later on in the interview, Stern asked the Charlies Angel actress if there was a point she considered marrying Pattinson.

Ex appeal: Rob and Kristen met when she was only 18 after she landed the role of Bella Swan who fell in love with his character Edward Cullen.

"We were together for years, that was my first [love]", the 29-year-old said on The Howard Stern Show. "The first time that I told her that I loved her, we were like sitting in this random bar..."

Now starring in the big screen spy adventure Charlie's Angels, out November 15, Stewart told Stern there was "nothing I could do" when it came to falling head over heels for Pattinson during their Twilight heyday. "I've never really been the most casual person". "But at the same time.every relationship I've ever been in, I thought that was it". I've never like casually...maybe one or two.

Stewart - who is now dating Dylan Meyer - reflected on her romance with Pattinson and the chance that it would have ended in marriage. "I'm really impulsive. I don't know when it's going to be".

Stewart admitted that she knew she loved Meyer from the beginning of their relationship and "all bets were off". "It's that I don't want to become a part of a story for entertainment value".
