Before its release, West sat down with Zane Lowe for his Apple Music Beats 1 show and looked back on his career.

So far, he has discussed topics ranging from his support of Donald Trump to his past pornography addiction. "Some people drown themselves in drugs, and I drown myself in my addiction: sex", he said.

He admitted he asked collaborators on the gospel album to abstain from premarital sex and invited them to pray and fast together.

The 42-year-old also revealed plans for a future presidential run.

"I will remember ... any founder that didn't have the capacity to understand culturally what we're doing", he said. You know, a jacket that I wanted to design, a auto image, a house image. One of the things that happened when I went to the hospital is I started reading the Bible and I started writing and copying out Bible verses and a person came to my house that wasn't a Christian and told me come over, and 30 minutes later I was in handcuffs headed to the hospital.

"You know, I was't just addicted to sex, I was addicted to inspiration but there's only one..."

Yeezy also insisted he's the best artist in the history of ever. "For the greatest artist in human existence to put a red hat on was God's practical joke to all liberals".

Jesus is King is set to drop on Friday, October 25. Attendees were not allowed to use their cell phones and noted there was little to no profanity in the new material.
