Harry Styles to Host and Perform on 'Saturday Night Live'

UPDATE, with Stewart info Kristen Stewart and Harry Styles will host the November 2 and November 16 episodes, respectively, of Saturday Night Live, the NBC comedy series announced today.

Coldplay will perform as the musical guest in the November 2 episode hosted by Kristen Stewart, while Styles will host the November 16 episode in addition to serving as the musical guest.

The former One Direction band member is no stranger to the sketch comedy show. The Brit announced the gig on social media Thursday morning. The following week, Charlie's Angels' Kristen Stewart will mark her second turn as host following a memorable stint in 2017 (which TVLine readers ranked as the third-best episode of Season 42). This will be Coldplay's sixth time as "SNL" musical guest. He shared the show's regular announcement post, captioning it simply "SNL - DOUBLE DUTY - NOV. 16". Eddie Murphy is also scheduled to make a return to the SNL stage for the first time in 35 years on December 21.

Hosts this season have thus far included Woody Harrelson, David Harbour, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, while the musical guests have been Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Camila Cabello.

Saturday Night Live airs live at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
