- ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) October 24, 2019Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison on duty as water boy during the game of Australia PM XI vs. Sri Lanka today! The match was being played at the Manuka Oval stadium which turned out to be a pretty low-scoring affair. However, when the Sri Lankan's were batting, Scott Morrison was seen running on to the field with a drink carrier in his hand. He also was seen having fun with the players.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka, who recently came from a T20I series against Pakistan, didn't have a great start to te the tour. The enigmatic figure was also wearing a formal white shirt, black pants, and a green-colored tie. Morrison was wearing the home side's yellow cap and went up to the likes of Chris Lynn and Jason Sangha.

The Australian Cricket team is all set to host Sri Lanka for a three-match T20 worldwide (T20I) series beginning in Adelaide on Sunday.

Turner's last global appearance came in the last of five ODIs against India earlier this year in March, when Australia beat the Virat Kohli-led side 3-2 to register their first bilateral series win in India after 2009. Australia have named a strong squad under the leadership of Aaron Finch for the upcoming series. The first of the three games will be played at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. The Sri Lankan team is now on a trip to play a three-match T20I series against the kangaroos.
