The X Factor: Celebrity has announced that Jenny Ryan WILL be in the live shows. "I got a call from Simon inviting me to come back".

Meanwhile, Jenny lately revealed she used to be supposed to audition for the main-ever X Ingredient series support in 2004, but she "chickened out" when she saw the scale of the queue. I'd been watching Pop Idol and thinking, 'This is quite interesting isn't it?' I wouldn't have been good enough to get through at all at that point.

Holmes questioned whether Cowell had admitted he was wrong prompting Ryan to laugh and answer: "Not quite! I inferred it from what he said".

The "Chase" quizzer told yesterday (20.10.19) how show bosses changed their mind and chose to put her back into the competition after her Overs mentor Nicole Scherzinger had turned her down on Saturday's (19.10.19) show, and she has now revealed Simon Cowell personally called to invite her back.

Nichole Scherzinger will mentor her in the Overs, saying "Jenny was just brilliant at her audition in LA. That voice of hers is one of a kind, and she's an fantastic person to get to know", she told Entertainment.ie.

The Pussycat Dolls singer added: "So it was such a tough decision to make".

Even Rylan Clark-Neal who found fame on The X Factor was shocked by the decision.

The news was confirmed in a statement on the official X Factor Twitter account.

She continued, "After a lot of discussion we all agreed we had to put her through".

"The Overs are going to smash it this year!"

Ryan now joins the remaining celebrity acts as they go live for the first time on the ITV show.

Vinnie Jones had originally been billed as a contestant, however, he did not appear at the audition stages as the pre-recorded episodes had taken place in July shortly after the death of his wife Tanya Jones.
