The products being recalled bear establishment number EST.

Officials with the United States Department of Agriculture announced a recall of 6,444 pounds of Great Value brand ready-to-eat pork sausage patty and turkey sausage patty products.

Fisher Packing Company recalled approximately 744 pounds of ready-to-eat pork products in September due to possible Listeria contamination. These items were shipped nationwide. "M2206T or P-2260T" printed on the package. These products were initially separated for disposal at a third-party cold storage facility but were accidentally shipped from the storage facility into commerce.

There have not been any confirmed reports of reactions from these products, but the USDA said anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact his or her physician.

Most people infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps 12 to 72 hours after being exposed to the bacteria. The symptoms usually go away within four to seven days. Individuals concerned about an illness should contact their health care provider. George's is asking customers who have purchased any of the products listed above to not consume them and return to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumers with food safety questions can call the toll-free USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-MPHotline (1-888-674-6854) or live chat via Ask USDA from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m.
