Iconic and multiple award winning artist, Kanye West has sensationally claimed rap music belongs to the devil that's why he has turned to Christianity.

This information was relayed by Kanye's pastor, Adam Tyson, who was a guest on the Apologia Studios podcast. He explained that the rapper began visiting the Placerita Bible Church in Newhall, California, in mid-May, prior to becoming a born-against Christian over the summer as he sought to unburden himself of the sins of pursuing fame in the music industry.

After showing up to service a few times, he requested to speak with Tyson. "[Kanye] said, 'About five weeks ago, I got radically saved, '" shared the pastor. Tyson revealed that the controversial rap star reportedly denounced the rap game entirely, calling it "the devil's music". "One time, he told me that he wasn't going to rap".

Jesus Is King is said to be free of curse words and contain Christian themes throughout, and Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian-West, has confirmed that his newfound devotion to his faith is real, and has changed both the man and the musician. "He would say the devil basically brought him to a place where he just felt like he was in bondage to his sin. I think you need to use your talents that God's given you and use that platform for God'".

Ye ultimately decided not to abandon his craft, but use it as vehicle to spread his beliefs. The rapper has also been on his own personal pilgrimage around the globe performing his hip-hop gospel during "Sunday Services".

After missing its promised debut date of September 27, West told fans at the Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience event at George Washington University on October 12 that the album would come out October 25, according to Forbes.
