"When we were acquired, Microsoft's said to us, 'We're buying you because we want you to keep making games the way you've been doing, not to change you.'" says Heins.

Obsidian has released its latest trailer for the highly anticipated title The Outer Worlds and this time it happens to be the launch trailer! Like most RPGs, your gameplay decisions determine the story - so if you're violent and prone to shooting first and talking later, then the game's story adapts. Players can customize their characters further by leveling up technical skills, so if customization is something you're into, it sounds like The Outer Worlds will have it.

Sci-fi video game "The Outer Worlds" is arriving next week, offering players the opportunity to shoot or schmooze their way through the farthest reaches of a galactic backwater.

The Outer Worlds will run at 4K on both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X but those playing on the Xbox will have a slight advantage as it will be included with the Game Pass subscription.

Take a look at the new launch trailer and tell us what you think! "Those people clearly haven't met you yet".

You'll be joined by companions who will help you out on your missions, and you can choose to recruit them or leave them behind. Find your ship, build your crew, and explore the settlements, space stations, and other intriguing locations throughout Halcyon.

The trailer also features the dulcet tones of T. Rex, using their tune "20th Century Boy" as backing soundtrack. Check back with us next week for our review coverage.
