For the past 10 months, the Nintendo Switch has been the best selling console in the U.S., as reported by The NPD Group.

We already knew that Nintendo Switch sales are going very (few days ago, we shared that the Switch family consoles have sold 10 million consoles in Europe to date), but today Nintendo also offers some data for what concerns the United States.

Crediting its 15 million sales milestone to the combined popularity of the Nintendo Switch (with detachable controllers and TV connector) and new Switch Lite (built-in controllers, no TV port), Nintendo has announced its current games machine as the best-selling console in North America for 10 months in succession.

Game for the console have also been popular with 14 games having reached more than one million units sold, out of these 14, four games have hit sales of more than 6 million.

Next up for the Switch are the releases of "Ring Fit Adventure" (classic Switch only) on October 18, "Luigi's Mansion 3" on October 31, and "Pokémon Sword and Shield" on November 15. Such as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle from Ubisoft, Minecraft from Mojang AB and Fortnite from Epic Games.

After seeing a steady release of games this year like Super Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, ASTRAL CHAIN and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, the Switch family of systems is ramping up for the holiday season with launches of big games like Luigi's Mansion 3 on October 31, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield on November 15, and Ring Fit Adventure hitting stores tomorrow, October 18.

In short, it seems that Nintendo Switch is still going strong after two and a half years on the market. Are you satisfied with your hybrid console?
