You'll want to have big-headed Calvin back on the track now because the real Silent Cal threw out a ceremonial first pitch the only time a Washington baseball team won the World Series.

Unsurprisingly, the Astros - going for their second title in three years - are the (rather heavy) favorites to win the World Series over the Nationals. The Nationals are listed as +195 underdogs.

The 2007 Rockies were swept in the World Series by the Boston Red Sox so hopefully that similarity won't happen since most fans would love to see a full seven games just to see the drama unfold.

The Astros had been favorites to win the World Series all season with the Las Vegas sportsbooks. The Astros won the ALDS despite needing five games against the Rays, and they shook off a Game 1 loss in the ALCS to defeat the Yankees in six games. They defeated the Brewers in the NL wild card, then upset the Dodgers in their NL Division Series.

The odds of the Astros sweeping the Nationals is +750 at DraftKings Sportsbook, while the odds of the Nationals sweeping the Astros is 25-1 odds.

Washington had to come from behind to win the Wild Card Game over the Brewers on October 1.
