Up to this point, Pixar has been sort of vague about the plot of its next original project, the fantasy-inspired Onward. But something goes awry, and the brothers must embark on a quest to find the missing half (that is, the torso and head) of their father. Watch the new trailer above. The film itself looked a little more honest and emotional when it was presented in longer form - these are two brothers who want to meet their dead father, after all - but the trailer does a pretty good idea of conveying the basic premise. It sounds like quite an epic fantasy story, right?

Yet, they yearn to get a bit more out of their late father in the 24 hours they have to spend with him.

And check out the new poster for "Onward"! The only other voice cast announced so far includes Octavia Spencer and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. But the spell goes wrong, and only their father's legs are brought back. Onward is set in a "suburban fantasy world" and follows these two elf brothers who could not be more unalike.

OInward reunites director Dan Scanlon and producer Kori Rae - the team behind Pixar's 2013 smash Monsters University.

Until today, all we really knew about Pixar's Onward was that it was set in a world where magic and goblins and the like exist, that it features the vocal talents of both Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, and that it looked like a fun, goofy, road trip comedy.
