Box Office 4th Day Report

The much anticipated Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer, War, has blown audiences minds with its spectacular action sequences and performances.

Now, the collections for the extended weekend are out and War has crossed Rs 150 crore mark. It is now the fifth highest grossing film of the year and is expected to cross the the box office records set by Bharat and Mission Mangal.

The total collection of the War movie after 4 days would be around 130+ crores. With 35+ crores on Sunday nearly assured, the opening weekend collection would be 165+ crores. Sharing the box office report of War, Taran Adarsh tweeted: "War hits the ball out of the park".

The budget of WAR is Rs 200 Crore (Production Cost: 180 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 20 Crore).

War is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under his home banner Yash Raj Films.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy dominated the Southern region but Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer failed to click in the Hindi version.

Apart from a strong fan base of the lead actors, the action factor and Sunday holiday helped the film to see a growth of Rs 8 crore nett than its fourth day (October 5). Adding another page to the record books, the film earned an estimated Rs 36 crore on Sunday, thus making it the highest collection for a Bollywood film.

Due to the normal working day, Joker dropped on the second day, minting Rs 3.75 crore but picked up again on third day with Rs 4.25 crore. The film went on to collect 23.10 crore on Thursday and Rs 21.30 crore on Friday, and now, Rs 28 crore on Saturday, bringing its nett collection to about Rs 124 crore.
