Microsoft will be holding a Surface event next month and, naturally, there is a lot of speculation on what spectacular new device the company will be revealing.

Winfuture.de reports that the Surface Laptop series will be getting a 15-inch version for the very first time. Its predecessors are only available with 13.5-inch screens. The new 2-in-1 is rumoured to be launching alongside the Surface Laptop 3, which is to offer a 15in model alongside the regular 13in.

That won't be the only new thing for the Surface Laptop line. Now, a piece of news alleged that Microsoft may unveil the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 with new configurations. This is a big win for Intel's rival.

In terms of specs, the giant is expected to launch a launch an AMD-powered Surface Laptop 3.

It's noteworthy that earlier leaks surrounding the Surface Pro 7 line-up suggested that we might see ARM processors, including the Snapdragon 8cx powering them, along with 4G LTE built-in.

The configurations above show a base model with an Intel Core i3 chip coupled with 4GB memory and 128GB storage.

These configurations are apparently specifically available for the European market, but that doesn't mean that we can't also use them to hypothesize about which configurations are on hand for the United States market.

The 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 is rumored to also come with a 4K display with Surface Pen support.
