However, the Feroz Shah Kotla ground's name will stay the same. We're all aware of how late finance minister Arun Jaitley visited Virat Kohli's house after his father's demise.

Virat Kohli turned nostalgic on Thursday after the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) unveiled a new pavilion stand bearing his name at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

Speaking during the event, Kohli was short of words after receiving the honour.

Held at the Weightlifting Hall of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the occasion saw the Indian team in attendance as their skipper was duly honoured for his contribution to the game. Kohli also thanked his family and his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma for his contributions over the years. I remember getting a ticket to watch a game in 2001 at the stadium and asking for autographs from players...

"When I left home today, I told my family one anecdote. It's a momentous occasion today", added Kohli, who along with the Indian team was felicitated by Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju. "Virat is a special player and he deserves this kind of a recognition".

While some of the users taunted the swimwear they wore was the ethnic brand's (which Kohli and Anushka endorse) new addition to the collection, few also took hilarious potshots at the Government stating that they wore minimum clothes due to the slowdown in the textile industry.

"Arun Jaitleyji was DDCA President for 14 years and I was the Vice President". Whenever we needed direction, he would help us. "So befitting to name it in his honour", Chauhan said.
