It appears Kevin Durant is not on good terms with the Thunder

In an interview with J.R. Moehringer of the Wall Street Journal that was published this week, Durant unloaded on the Thunder organization and fans in OKC for everything that has unfolded since he left. It's actually pretty poetic from the former MVP, and for Brooklyn fans, it's definitely great to hear that KD appears to have already committed pretty much the rest of his career with the Nets. Some days I hate that the players let the National Basketball Association business, the fame that comes with the business, alter their minds about the game. It's not a bad thing. Sometimes I don't like being around the executives and politics that come with it. Success at the highest level of basketball has nearly always involved stars stepping up and putting forth great individual performances in order to take their teams over the top.

Durant says that he meant to return to Oklahoma City at one point, but that won't be happening now. "We can totally rely on only our system for maybe the first two rounds". Then the next two rounds we're going to have to mix in individual play. We've got to throw teams off, because they're smarter in that round of playoffs.

"So now I had to dive into my bag, deep, to create stuff on my own, off the dribble, isos, pick-and-rolls, more so than let the offense create my points for me".

"Such a venomous toxic feeling when I walked into that arena", Durant said. I eventually wanted to come back to that city and be part of that community and organization, but I don't trust nobody there. Ain't talking to me?

In July, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith delivered an explosive report on Durant's exit from Oklahoma City on First Take, and said that according to his sources, Durant promised Russell Westbrook that he would not leave the Thunder the night before he met with the Warriors.

Durant spent almost a decade in OKC, helping take the team to the NBA Finals against Miami in 2012 before being named the league's Most Valuable Player in 2014. That must have been fake, what they was doing. However, he's clearly still searching for contentment.
