There are new updates that have been added at the bottom of this story... How long fans are forced to wait until the truth is revealed remains to be seen, though if the precedent set by previous premature reveals is any indication, Fortnite's so-called Zapper Trap could arrive as early as this week. The game's latest update brings us two for the price of one. It is also expected to bring some map changes to the game.

It appears that the issue stems from players being randomly kicked from matches since the launch of the v10.20 Content Update, and the Zapper Trap might be the root of the problem. Have a look at the official tweet below which confirms the schedule & timings of the update. You can find maps and guides for those and other missions from this season in our complete Fortnite Season 10 challenges roundup. Leaks regarding the return of Kevin have been floating around for the past couple of weeks. Have a look at the changes that are now happening at Fatal Fields location.

The new trap item was added to the popular battle royale game on September 3, meaning that all within the space of 24 hours the developers had teased, released and disabled their newest feature - something that's been a recurring theme throughout Season 10 so far. The new trap is already showing in the in-game news feed. "HIGH VOLTAGE", the message reads. "Trap 'em and Zap 'em".

The Zapper deals 50 damage and has a one-second deploy time after being placed.

Fortnite players will soon have access to a brand new toy if recent leaks are anything to go by. Clocking in at 750MB on PS4, check out the full Fortnite update 2.33 patch notes below.
