The Golden State Warriors announced today (29/8) the Basketball Operations promotions and additions.

That was one of a series of front office moves for the Warriors announced Thursday, including former player Mike Dunleavy Jr. moving from scout to assistant general manager. He will be used as a consultant on both the business and basketball side of team operations.

Kirk Lacob recently concluded his ninth season with the Warriors organization, serving the last three as Vice President of GSW Sports Ventures while also serving as assistant general manager, a position he's held for six seasons.

Although he jumped around over the course of his playing days Dunleavy Jr. spent his first four seasons in the National Basketball Association with the Warriors.

The remainder of the staff under Kerr remains intact with assistants Mike Brown, Jarron Collins, Bruce Fraser, Ron Adams and assistant coach and director of player development Chris DeMarco.

He finishes his career with averages of 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 1,098 games.

Dunleavy, who was selected No. 3 overall by the Warriors in the 2002 NBA Draft, played four-plus seasons for the team. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he played guard for the men's basketball team. Pachulia started at center on the Warriors' championship teams in 2017 and 2018 before spending his final season in a limited role with the Pistons.
