Kim Kardashian West shared a link to the Sunday Service website on Twitter and specified that the location was chosen "in support of the victims and survivors of the Dayton mass shooting".

The service is going down at the RiverScape MetoPark to a large crowd.

Both North and Saint have participated in previous editions of the weekly spiritual gathering, which 'Ye's wife Kim Kardashian West recently described to Jimmy Kimmel as "more of just a healing experience" than a religious vibe, explaining, "There's no praying, there's no sermon, no word, just music, and just a feeling - and it's Christian".

Dave Chappelle, an OH native, addressed the crowd.

The rapper took to the stage and said, 'We've come to love you and we've come to share the love of Jesus Christ with you all today'.

"We're still strong and the only way - the best way, that we can honor our fallen is by getting up better than we were before", he continued. "We will not let those people die in vain". "They're our heroes, they are our friends".

Chappelle is in town to host Sunday's free Gem City Shine benefit concert later in the day in honor of the victims where about 20,000 people are expected to attend.

Chappelle then thanked West for coming to the city.

A gunman armed with a rifle with the capacity to hold 100 rounds of ammunition opened fire outside a bar in Dayton, Ohio, killing nine people, including his sister, in what was the second USA mass shooting in fewer than 24 hours.

Police said the horrific shooting, which occurred on August 4, began at 1:05 a.m. and lasted about 30 seconds before the gunman was shot dead by police.
